The artists of the Yates County Arts Center include painters, photographers, clay artists and potters, jewelry makers, wood and metal workers, sculptors and artists in many other media. They are part of a vibrant, active community of creative people who enjoy the beauty and inspiration of our Finger Lakes region.
Works by our artists as well as guest artists are on display and for sale at the Yates Gallery in Penn Yan, N.Y. Exhibits change almost every month. New art and new creations are always there to enjoy.
Our artists also give workshops and demonstrations in a variety of media. Workshops are open to anyone who enjoys creating, from beginner to master. If you are an artist and would like to become a YCAC instructor please complete the Workshop Proposal form.

How to Become a YCAC Artist
Becoming an exhibiting artist at YCAC is an easy procedure. Become a member at the $35 level or higher, provide contact information and submit three pieces of work to be juried by our Artistic Advisory Committee. If accepted, the artist will sign a consignment agreement specifying consignment procedures and rate. You will be notified of upcoming exhibits and can drop off up to three pieces to be hung in each exhibit.

Our exhibits are marketed heavily and openings are well attended. A calendar of creatively designed theme shows stirs interest in a wide demographic.
The Yates Gallery of YCAC exhibits artwork in a wide range of media. Including painting, sculpture, woodworking, pottery, glass, fiber arts, book arts, basketry, jewelry and more.
