Workshops and Classes:-
To register for a class, call The Gallery (Tues-Fri, 10:00-4:00, or Sat 9:00-3:00) at 315-536-8226. Numbers are limited for many classes, so register early: Registration
Full class fee is required at registration.
Absolutely NO partial class fees. Students may make up missed class if available at another session.
Class size is limited; please register early to avoid closed classes.
Enrollment is first come first served.
Classes with inadequate enrollment are canceled I week before
the first class meeting. All fees refunded when YCAC cancels a
class.
Refunds of class fees, less $10 admin fee, made for withdrawals prior to 2 business days prior to first class or 2 weeks prior for full week workshop.

Instructors: Robin B. McCondichie-Secrest graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Art History and Studio Art from the University of New Hampshire and received her MFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute of Art in Baltimore. She has taught a variety of art classes to children and teens in her studio, student homes and art centers. Matthew C. Robbins combines his love for the outdoors with his artistic talent to create true to life paintings. Matt has ranked among the top entries in Stamp Competitions and Wildlife Exhibitions. See his work at the Yates County Arts Center. Matt enjoys teaching art to children and young adults and conducts workshops in cartooning and painting music. Helene Oldweiler graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA degree in Sociology from SUNY Buffalo. She attended the California College of Arts and Crafts where she took several art courses including pottery and sculpture. Helene conducted independent studies in psychology, counseling, and art therapy with the Goddard College in Plainfield, VT. Helenes workshops emphasize the value of working with clay while connecting with our artistic creativity and self esteem. Fran Bliek began her love of art as a child and attended classes at the Munson-William-Proctor Institute of Art in Utica. She received a BS degree in Elementary Education from SUNY Potsdam and has taught in NYS public schools. Fran has conducted childrens watercolor workshops at YCAC and Child and Family Resources. In 2003 she was visiting watercolor artist at PY Elementary School. Katherine B. Gill received her BS Degree in Art Education from SUNY New Paltz and MS in Elementary Education from Elmira College. She has directed numerous high school and community theater productions, is a professional singer with The Boogie Girls and Company E and a member of the Chorus of the Southern Finger Lakes and Penn Yan Chorus. Kathy served on the Board of Directors for the Lake Country Players, the Keuka Lake Players and the Rainbow Dane Arts Company in Elmira. Barbara Havill has been a full time potter for decades. She and her husband Eric create both production items and individual art items at their studio south of Branchport.
